Summary of Personality:
Rowan is a rather quiet woman, but that might be due to the fact that she is a mute. Well, a selective mute. She really only vocalizes with those she trusts, which honestly sucks since her most trusted person is in the Boarwood Prison. Anyway, Rowan is shy towards others that she doesn't know but is really caring anyway and is willing to help others even if she doesn't know them. Her favorite place to be is outside in nature or hanging out in the park with her kids. Speaking of children, Rowan always had a soft spot for them. If there is a child in trouble, she is willing to give the clothes off her back and a roof over their heads.

History:
Rowan grew up the youngest of three siblings in the Archer family. They were a normal little family, her father working as a bank teller and her mother working as a secretary at a really well known law firm. The three siblings were always close, but as each one turned eighteen they started drifting apart but not too much. But this is Rowan's story, so here it is.
As a child, she was very much a geek that tended to stay to herself with a nose in a book. She was also very much bullied which brought on her selective muteness and learning sign language. Rowan always figured that if she was quiet that no one would mess with her. Oh, how wrong she was. It was around this time that she met the love of her life. He was tall and handsome, but he was one of the popular guys so Rowan always thought that he never noticed her. Again, she was very wrong.
When she was around seventeen, that was when he actually came up and interacted with her in a way that she was honestly surprised. It was a party to celebrate graduation (she was smart enough to graduate a year early). They casually talked and as the night went on, the alcohol got to them which lead them to...well...very naughty things. So the next morning she woke up right beside the guy she had a crush on since her freshman year of high school. Rowan would soon realize what events she would set in motion...
After a month or two, she would find out she was pregnant. By this time her and the boy she absolutely loved would have started dating. He seemed to be okay with finding out they would be parents right out of high school. She, on the other hand, was a little hesitant with accepting it. But once she saw her son's face for the first time, everything seemed to be all right.
Rowan and the guy would get married a year later, which would make her extremely happy. It was as if she had the perfect fairy tale. Behind the scenes, however, her husband would be getting into a life of crime just to help take care of the family. She just thought he got a good job. Oh, how wrong she was about that. However, she stayed in her oblivious bubble.
Another year went by and she gave birth to their first daughter, Evelyn. Now that they had two children, Rowan voiced that she did not wish for anymore for a while. He was fine with that considering the fact of what he did behind her back. There was now three people he had to make sure wouldn't be in the crossfires of his choices.
Life seemed to be perfect for Rowan until one night about a year after Evelyn was born she got a call from her husband that changed her life forever. He let her know he was not coming home for a long while and explained why. But this was the moment she knew that once again her life would get thrown for a loop. How would she explain to the kids that their dad wouldn't be home for a while especially if he got caught?
Which, sadly, he was caught and he was to spend X amount of time in Boarwood Prison for his crimes. At least he was closer and the little family was allowed to visit him from time to time.
So Rowan raised the kids on her own up until now and is obviously struggling since she is basically a single mother.
