Erik is a pretty easy going guy for his age he can be a little naive at times too. He’s always looking for ways to improve the food experience for prisoners as well as himself. He is very kinda and generous to others even if they had killed people. He believes strongly in second chances.

History:
- Erik was born out of wedlock, his mother was 18 when she had him and though his parents promised to wed, his father ran and left. His mother was barely able to take care of him and he spent most of his time alone at the house when he became 3
- Erik by the age of 4 was already cooking himself and teaching himself how to do things to help his mother who worked for several hours at one job and then another just to maintain bills. When school came around, Erik would often be ready for his mom so when she would awaken he was already ready for school.
- Once Erik was 10 he was able to walk himself to and from school. He was very naive when he was tricked by a neighbor to come to his house for a snack. Erik doesn’t talk about what happened. IT continued to happen until he was 14
- When he was 14, his father came back into their life. By that time his mother was mentally and physically exhausted. Though they never married, Issac wanted to mend whatever he ruined. Erik wanted to give his father a chance, so he did. A year later, he confessed what the neighbor did.
- Erik had no idea what his father would do but when he heard several gun shots from the neighbors yard he feared what had happened. Even when his father came home and told him what happened, that the man would never hurt him again, Erik wasn’t sure what to think. He held onto his father until the cops came and took him away. Erik was so scared that day and his mother had broken down again from what happened.
- By the time Erik was 18, he often went to visit his father in prison, always going and never missing a session with him. He still expressed his care and his father continued to tell him he didn’t regret it and wanted Erik safe. Erik was determined to do not only what he enjoyed but also to see his father more.
- He went to college to be a chef and by the time he was 29 he got a job in the prison’s kitchen. Though he wasn’t allowed to socialize with his father outside of the kitchens unless they were in the visiting area, he was grateful for the time he got in the mess hall with him, often making sure to slip his dad and some of his friends special treats in their meal. - Erik has been at the prison for a year now and has made the food much better since his arrival, loving to get the men and women equal opportunity to have a good meal in their life, even if is made in larger quantities. Erik still does get special treats for anyone that asks or even if they dont he finds out what they like.
