Roleplay Rules
1. Make an effort with your writing. We welcome all levels of roleplay to this forum. This means that we do not allow text speak in any of the roleplay and we expect your writing to be good enough to understand. There is no word count on the posts however if someone posts 3 paragraphs we expect you to match that as it is unfair posting a one line response. If you do not have the muse then wait until you do.
2. If you see a tagged roleplay, for example (insert character name) if this is not you please do not join in on the roleplay. There is usually a plot going on between characters. Speak to the original poster to see if you can join.
3. No god modding. This means no taking control of other people’s characters. This also includes not killing another character without permission. The only exception for this rule is if the owner of the character gives you permission to god mod.
4. Keep it PG13. Proboards terms are for all forums to be PG13. If you are unsure if what you are posting matches that criteria then do not post it.
5. No Mary Sue or Gary Stu characters. These characters are boring and nobody is perfect and nobody has just flaws.
6. Post in third person, so he did this or she walked to the store. When posting speech please use quotation marks and change the colour or bold out the text which is speech to make it easier to read.
General Forum Rules
1. After you have signed up please change your forum name to your character name for example Spike Hunter.
2. Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated. No insulting people, racism, homophobia etc. is tolerated. Breaking this rule will see you banned.
3. No spamming the chat. This could be link spam or spamming the chat with emojis, gifs etc. It makes the chat hard to read.
4. If you are going to be absent for more than a week please post in the board just so we know everything is ok.
5. Have fun! We come here to escape the real world so we expect no drama.
Character rules
1. There is no limit on characters however you have to show you are active with them. Do not make 30 characters and then not post with them. This is unfair on those who want to use a particular face claim.
2. Once your character is accepted by an admin or mod please fill out the claims.
3. All characters are over 18 with no exceptions. If your character has a child, NPC them. This is after all a prison based forum.
4. Not all characters will be maximum security criminals, famous and so forth. So please try being somewhat sensible.
5. For your crimes please use some common sense with those one. Some of these topics can be triggers for others so please avoid using sexual crimes as a reason why your character is locked up.
