Rayce is generally a quiet man, prefering to keep to himself as much as he can. He is very emotional, which stems from the night he murdered an elderly couple after he robbed them. To others he appears unemotional but in reality he works hard to keep himself in line. He does his best to stand up for people but keeps his relationships to a minimum.

- Born in Germany to a strict but loving father and an alcohol dependent mother.
- Moved to the United States (Hollywood, Florida) when he was 5 years old.
- Parents divorced when he was 10 years old and lived with his father.
- Father died in a work related accident, was sent to live with his mother and her new boyfriend.
- His step father showed him how to fight and use side arms while he was a teenager.
