Thomas wasn't big into church, hell he never really cared about it when he was younger either. But when the preacher came, Thomas's only reason for even going to that stupid sunday mass to him, was literally so he could oogle the man. Ok so he wanted to touch him but still couldn't gather enough bravery to do it. sure he punched others but recently he's been doing better. Since he had been there for 13 years many who touched him now were fine to. Slight bumps never bothered him now. Still, he had many more years until it was over and despite being 'good' Thomas was still far away from being let off for good behavior. He was however happy to have reduced in his risk, having moved from high to medium was a big step and he liked the freedom it came with it. sure he wasn't on the low spectrum with the others but hell who cared? he could do things now he wasn't capable of.
Today though was a bit different. it wasn't sunday, and he wanted to 'confess' his sins as some would say. In reality he had finally gathered enough courage to hopefully touch the other man, even if it was just a hand shake. So thomas knew he'd have to play this part. This stupid part of being 'good' and 'following god'. Inwardly as he walked to the chapel, seeing the guards and cameras, he had to mentally prepare himself. Thinking he was ready by the time he got to the chapel door, he was sadly mistaken. When he opened it and walked in, all that bravery he had disappeared. Damnit.
Another hot summers day in Texas, Jesse left his chapel with just his black shirt on and white priest collar before jumping in his car to head over to Boarwood prison. The locals called him crazy for daring to enter the prison but still there were people here who needed to ask for forgiveness from God as they certainly needed that. If he could change so could the rest of those locked away. After the short drive, he was let in by the guards before heading over to the main building to be searched again. On his persons he only carried a bible which was scanned through and some rosemary beads. Once inside he was escourted to the chapel where he took a seat.
Jesse sat on one of the plastic chairs, a poor excuse for a chapel in his opinion. He noticed the CCTV camera up in the corner of the room and rolled his eyes. He was glad he only went to juvi instead of a full state prison. He waited for the first person to walk through and hearing the door open he turned around to see who it was and smiled, one of his regulars. He stood up from the chair and looked at the guard, "I am fine, this man won't cause me any aggro". He said as he watched Thomas walk in and the guard close the door, "Hello Thomas, how are you?" He held his hand out, he knew Thomas would likely ignore it like he always seemed to do in the past, "What can I help you with today?" He spoke in a calm and friendly manner. He knew in the back of his mind he would have to keep his sinful thoughts at bay, he was doing God's work but he could not help being attracted to the bad boys.

Thomas moved inside and shut the door as Jesse spoke to the guard before he moved and left himself, brushing thomas slightly which caused his hands to clench but he turned his attention to the man in the black attire. Damn did he look alluring already. The smile already wanted to make thomas just reach out and touch his face but he stood there like a brick wall. he barely caught his greeting since his eyes instantly went to the hand that was held out. The man tried every time, and every time thomas ignored it and went to sit across from him instead. He literally stared at the hand though, something different going through his mind. he moved a step closer, still gazing at that hand. Hell, he wanted to, it was right there. he swallowed hard, his adams' apple bobbing some before he lifted his eyes to look at the smiling face of the preacher. "my bravery." he said sternly.
He knew it was a matter of time before his hand got tired and jesse would bring it down. he could work with that. he could take it again another time, later. or not. He wasn't too sure right now. HE was normally not this nervous about things like this. so why was he suddenly? because he wanted to literally grab him and do sinful things to a preacher for crying out loud.
Jesse could see the inner conflict within Thomas as he looked at his hand. To him this was still progress and he gave him an encouraging smile, "Do not worry about it. I know how important first contact is for you". Jesse was an understanding man with that, "If you feel brave enough at any point just reach out". He could not care if Thomas touched him, in his mind he wanted it. He moved in his hand back before taking a seat and moving the bible onto his laptop. Not showing he was disappointed as he opened the book to a random page, "So what is it exactly about bravery you need help with?" He queried before regretfully turning his eyes from Thomas and back to his bible.
Jesse crossed is leg over as he rested the bible on his laptop, trying to get comfortable in the plastic chair before finding the page he wanted, "Did you bring a bible? If not you can share mine". He offered as he pulled out a quote he had marked out. He was waiting to see where Thomas would sit before he would speak again. He didn't mind these visits to see him and he knew it was a guilty pleasure of him. It was what made his job enjoyable.

Thomas was grateful that Jesse understood his issue, since really he mentioned it their first time meeting. He then nodded and moved to sit across from him, watching as he messed with the bible and he held in a slightly disapproving look before giving a shrug. "i'm not really sure. You know my issue. i dont have a problem with most now but its just bothersome." honestly he didn't want to talk about how god could help him. he wanted jesse to. however he wanted to avoid talking to a damn therapist and figuring a preacher maybe was a better route, especially one that he wanted to touch. that was a good thing right? he then shook his head as he leaned back in the pathetic plastic chairs.
"i never bring one jess, you should know this." he said firmly before he watched him get a mark out and wondered what he'd be telling him now. he moved his eyes all over the man's body, stopping to stare at his hands again. he wondered how they'd feel against his. did he use lotion? how soft or rough were they? his own hands twitched some.
Jesse nodded, clearly listening to Thomas talk. The man clearly had issues but who didn’t? For some reason he could turn a blind eye to why Thomas was in here and locked away, “You are doing well, do not forget that. They even downgraded you and that is due to your hard work and not God’s”. He likes to remind those he spoke to that they are the ones making the changes. He knew Thomas wasn’t really a religious man but still he had his own job to do as well. Plus he did enjoy Thomas’s company when he could have it. Jesse gave a genuine laugh at Thomas’s comment, “I will make sure I bring two next time”. He peered up from the bible, “Even if you are not religious, you can find peace in the text. Treat the bible like a history book and learn the lessons from there”. He then read out what he had found, “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you”. Jesse closed the bible to look up at Thomas, “God is with you to help you. What is the worst thing that can happen if for example you touch me?” He queried.
Thomas was definitely one of the odder people he had met but at least he was honest. He placed the bible beside him without taking his eyes off Thomas, he was not afraid of the man in front of him. Part of him wondered what Thomas felt like with his built up muscles hiding underneath his clothing. He quickly shook his head to try getting that sinful thought away, “You know, I’m not as innocent as I’m made out to be. I could have been in the same position as you however I avoided that due to being in a psych ward. The bible bought me some peace”. He wondered what Thomas would take with that confession.

Thomas stared at him and at the compliment, he felt his chest swell with a slight of pride from the praise. he grinned a bit more. "damn straight it wasn't on him, it was all me." he said almost with a sneer and he moved a bit closer to the table, looking at him when he saw that bible still open. he was watching him with interest and gave a smirk when he said he'd bring two. Like he'd touch one. he bit his lip a little before he let it roll out of his teeth. Treat it like a history book? the bible? huh, well maybe that made a little of sense. HE stayed quiet and let him begin to read out what he found. he tilted his head at the question.
what would be the worst thing? him pinning him to the table and having his way, or vise versa. he shook his head some and then looked at him with a more stern expression. of course the man's words on his own confession made Thomas' eyes turn up and he smiled a bit more, leaning in more. "did it now? so you're saying you'd be like me? behind bars?" he growled a little and moved to look at his hands. he didn't speak for a bit longer and then gazed back up at him. "i dont want nor care for the bible. just you. i only come for you." there he finally said it. he had to do it, before he lost any courage he lad left. he reached out rather quickly and grabbed his hand, his hand tightening on him and holding it as he held a breath and closed his eyes to feel the touch there. he didn't move. he let the touch of jesse's skin sink in, after a few long moments he let out a heavy sigh and opened his eyes to stare intensely at Jesse, his hand still on top of his.
Thomas looked proud of his achievement which was Jesse's intentions. A man had to put work in to improve oneself and could not just rely on God for that. He appreciated the silence as he read the quote from the bible, knowing full well that Thomas had no interest in it. At least it showed a level of respect on that front or him. Jesse waited patiently for an answer which he knew Thomas would have to think of the answer. He heard the question fired back at him and he could not help but smirk, "Yes, I could have been in your position. I spent a bit of time in juvi and then sent away to some Catholic school to straighten me out, got caught stealing a car". One of his main conflicts was not going back into the life of crime which could be easy to slip back into, mainly over his temper and dealing with people after certain confessions.
There were some things Jesse could not stand where he did punch someone after a confession. When Thomas spoke again he was taken by surprise with the words that were spoken. He felt Thomas's hand grab hold of his tightly. He felt himself grow hot in the cheeks, not expecting quite the confession from Thomas. He cleared his throat as he looked into his eyes, the conflict in his mind playing up. Thomas was a criminal, he was a holy man this was somewhat wrong in his mind but the other part of him wanted to confess his feelings. He took a deep breathe and muttered, "God forgive me". Before speaking directly to Thomas, "I have always known you had no interest in my religious teachings. I only turn up here to see you and be able to speak with you. Normally I would not bother putting this much effort into someone". He was speaking honestly and finally letting out what he had hidden for so long. Now the first touch had been established, he placed his spare hand on top of Thomas's, feeling his rough skin on his hand. How he wished that they were not in a room where there was a camera pointed at them, "I have feelings for you. I have done for a while. That is my confession". He could still feel his face was hot as he spoke, not knowing fully how Thomas would take that.

Thomas watched him, staring at him when he continued to hold onto his hand, feeling something he hadn't felt in...well ever. Holding the hand and then seeing Jesse speak, only to hear him beg forgiveness from the supposed God. he snorted but listened to him, slowly smiling as he poured out his own confession. How interesting. and wonderful. Jesse enjoyed their time as much as Thomas enjoyed theirs. With this final touch connection, he smiled a bit more and felt him hold onto his hand, feeling the heat of the other hand over his own he put his other hand as well, chuckling a bit more. he then looked at those big eyes that captured Thomas the moment he met him months ago. How wonderful it felt. He grinned and released the man's hands and stood. he then moved up and walked around the table, grabbing Jesse's chair.
He yanked him back, turning him to the side before he moved to kneel before him. he took his hands, resting one on his shoulder and the other on his head, closing his eyes as he had initiated the touch again and placed the preacher's hands where he wanted them.he leaned in and rested his head on the man's inner thigh, his arm coming up around his left thigh and holding it there. his other hand moved to rest on his inner thigh before moving to the man's hip and his fingers pulled and pushed beneath the fabric to touch the skin there, sighing contently. He didn't need words to explain himself. he wanted this comfort. even for a little bit of time. Jesse Cooper
