Summary of Personality
Gabriel is timid and shy but he can speak up when he wants to. Usually he keeps his head down and does what is asked of him. He is very skittish around people and usually hides behind others unless he's going for something he feels strong against. He doesn't like being called stupid since he's actually highly intelligent. he tries to make Malcolm happy in whatever he needs, and on his own time spends a lot of time reading in the bunk. He is very compassionate and sweet but he doesn't let it show to anyone, afraid to be targeted though as his rank, he usually is overlooked.

History:
- Gabriel was born in California, the first and only child of the couple. His father was a pimp and after Gabriel was born his mother underwent surgery to get her tubes tied.
- Gabriel's childhood was full of women being there and cooing over him when his father wasn't around. When he was he was often trying to 'toughen him up' even as a babe. Gabriel would cry often and soon lost any attention from his father.
- Gabriel was very bright as a child and caught on reading and writing as well as excelled at school, so much that it caught his father's eye again and got him to start keeping tabs on money when he was 12. He was small to begin with and when he would upset his father, the man began to beat him, which often resulted in being tied down and swatted with a switch on his feet, forcing him to crawl. On school days after a punishment he would usually be crying by the end of the day due to the pain he endured.
- Gabriel suffered bad depression when he became 14 and tried to kill himself when his mother was out and his father was busy with another woman. His father caught him by the time he did the second cut and quickly stopped him, calling a friend to help instead of taking him to the hospital. Gabriel after he was bandaged up was beaten and whipped for his 'disobedience' to his father.
- Gabriel's mother ended up committing suicide a few months later which made him sink into a deeper hole. However several of his father's 'friends' were showing interest in him and just a month after her funeral he was taken over and raped by them, his father getting paid for it.
- By the time Gabriel was 17 he was his father's own prostitute, not caring it was his own son he was doing it to and getting more people. Gabriel often still fought anyone his father hooked him up with and would get hurt afterwards and punished. Just before his 18th birthday he was caught on the street after a police officer posed as a buyer and was fined for his prostitution. His father was very angry over this and once again, Gabriel was off his feet for several days.
- When Gabriel turned 19 he was highly drugged from someone who he couldn't remember and woke up in a car where he was in the passenger seat. He remembers nothing from that night, only staring at the burning building before him and realizing the car he was in wasn't his own. The next thing he knew Police were at the driver door and dragging him out and arresting him.
- Gabriel was framed for killing 4 people in the home along with 3 others he had 'hit' with the car. HE had no idea that whoever did this to him was able to get so much compelling evidence and all of it pointed to Gabriel. Even when Gabriel was put on the stand and claimed he did nothing of the sort, it was hard to plea for anything. His father didn't even bother getting him a lawyer and since he was of adult age, months afterwards he was sentenced 102 years, bringing up the fact that the night he was found there was large sum of cash and the fact he had been caught prostituting and labs showed he had taken part in sexual activity that night. Gabriel was crushed.
- Gabriel was sent to Boarwood to carry out his 102 year sentence, being moved instantly into the maximum security despite his quiet and skittish behavior, most believed it was just how he portrayed himself to get close and kill. Within the first few months, he caught the eye of the kingpin. Gabriel needed to protection and it was offered. Knowing there was no other way, Gabriel took it.
