Welcome to Boarwood, a small rustic town in Texas. The town was thought of as a ghost town however the civilians who live here would disagree. They wanted to escape the busy city life or expand their criminal empire. Boarwood does have a lot to offer with scenic views of rock covered mountains, a lake which is a drive away and other facilities that keep the residents happy. Boarwood is mainly famous for the prison located nearby.
Boarwood prison was founded in 1908 by Sir Graham Williamson as a place to hold the most dangerous criminals to walk the Earth. A strict military based prison where those who break the rules are severely punished and those who betray their country found themselves on death row. In 1944 the prison was expanded to hold low and medium risk criminals to try getting them back into society as well as punishing criminals for their crimes. In 1982 the psych ward was opened to hold those who are criminally insane and cannot join the general prison population. The prison has a reputation for illegal experiments on the inmates, some corruption of the guards as wells as certain gangs running riot. This is not a place for the faint hearted or those who cannot handle prison life.
